Christmas Wishlist

Christmas is just around the corner and lists are starting to fill up. Mine is no exception. I'm not really the wishlist type, but after seeing these pieces just recently over the internet I guess things has to change. Most of my "lists" are mental and not a literal list, but this time I just want to show you guys what I want and will hopefully get this holiday. Well pretty sure though I'm not getting any of these but curating is fun, so I'm giving this a try.

4. Cross Diesel Polo

This is an online shop I just found out about, they pretty much sell vintage stuff, thus the name. Anyway, as I was going through their shop one thing was noticeably dominant- the "Vintage" vibe. You all know I'm a sucker for vintage pieces, no matter how old it is, if it's vintage I dig it. Ok, let me give you a run through of the pieces I pretty much had feels for in their shop. Let's begin with this varsity jacket, I know for a fact this type of jacket is outdated, but I've always wanted one when it started to trend back in 2012. I just couldn't seem to find the "perfect" jacket, that's why I never got the chance to lay my hands on my own varsity jacket. This would be a perfect time to wear one as there are not much people sporting this. Now to these Indian jackets, always have I been dreaming of a jacket like this one, fringe on the sleeves and at the back, over-sized, pretty much a "dream jacket" I consider. I'm calling out Santa and all of his elves to consider me on the nice list and give me one of this jacket. Everything about these jackets are to die for, not much to say. For the last piece, I instantaneously thought about Louis Vuitton's Spring/ Summer Menswear 2015 Collection. Just love the vintage appeal of this shirt. From the print and patterns, to the colors, everything just screams vintage. Also a perfect shirt for Christmas because of the colors- Red and Green.

Found a lot of good stuff on Zalora PH and here I am curating ten of my favorites for my Christmas Wishlist. I went for pieces that are basic and I know has that versatility in them so whenever I feel like using them again, they won't look like as to how I've worn them before. These are also perfect gifts for your girl friends and boy friends, and those girl and boy friends without the space in between. I have found Checkered shirts which are both paneled, one I know I can layer with a collared top and the other probably with a shirt or as is. I also found a cute Hawaiian shirt, will never get tired of Hawaiian shirts, just in love with this prints and the colors that go with it. I also have my eyes on these shoes, I don't really go for sneakers but this pair of platform sneakers just changes my whole perception towards sneakers. The one piece I'm obsessing with is this sheer paneled blouse, just in love with the whole garment. The sheer, the panel, truly is an orgasmic piece. Insignificant Pedestrian

Neutrals to end the semester.
Finally over with this semester, what a stress has it been. It isn't officially over yet as I still have to comply a couple of things but I'm getting there (can't wait!). Anyway, you know for a fact that most of the looks I share here are washday outfits, and this outfit closes the washday looks for this semester. Maybe a break from all the layers or maybe not. As I am typing this, I am actually thinking of compiling all washday looks in one post. I will most probably, so check it out soon.
For this look, I went for a combo you all would be very much familiar with. The peter pan collared blouse plus black pegged pants combo. I overlaid everything with this beige colored shirt dress as I may categorize it (but it of sorts resembles a little to that of a maternity dress). Moreover, I wanted a high-low effect, so I tucked in the front of the dress so it wouldn't be too dressy for a school outfit. So glad that I went for the tuck-in, as it still has this casual vibe to it. Finished the look with this floppy hat. I've been actually looking for hats, stiffer ones to be exact, but still so happy I got to purchase this. Overall, I am really in love with this look, probably one with my "top faves". I just love how this look closely sticks to my style and palette and exudes a balance of modern and vintage vibe.

Zalora PH X The Bowl Headed

Never did I see this one coming, Zalora Philippines partners with The Bowl Headed (still thrilled about this one). Anyway, I was thinking of doing more of this "wishlist" kind of thing from time to time here on my blog. I've been actually contemplating about this one, and finally decided to do this. Since it's October, let's kick this month and this series off with the first. Now, I decided to list five things I find perfect for my sartorial taste from their array of tops (I just went for the tops for now), it could've been a longer list but let's just settle with five as for now.

.

1. Sheer Panelled Blouse
I love sheer and also when it has strategically placed non-sheer fabrics, they just add more appeal to the garment. This one would be perfect for a day-to-night look, I'd just throw in my favorite black pegged pants, then I'm good to go. I would usually look at collars first when choosing button-ups as they would just sometimes make the whole look. I also love the zipper detailing for the pockets, adds more appeal to the garment.
2. Binding Scuba Top
Athletic chic has been a thing for quite some time now, with sneakers emerging on the street style scene and even on the runway, so there's no way I'd let pass a beautiful white minimal top. I love the texture of the fabric and the black detailing. I could see myself overlaying this to a white button-up or my fave peter pan collared blouse and match the whole thing with a white pegged pants. Either I go for an all white look or a contrasting look.
3. Lace Kimono Sleeved Blouse
Another piece I'd love to put in the day-to-night category. With this top, I would just put on a black pegged pants and let the top do the magic. I love tops (a sucker for it) that has sleeves of different fabric or texture, because you can always make it simple and it will make up for the simplicity. The lace sleeves are just the sleeves you can't not recognized. A top so simple but speaks in volume.
4. Oversized Tunic Top
This one I really, really love! Well, I always love anything basic, just because they're so versatile and can be so many things. Let's take this tunic top for example, if it's for any day out, I would simply put this on or if I want to be a bit dressy for the day out I would add my favorite peter pan collared blouse underneath to create an effect and pair everything with a black jeans and black creepers. I would also want to wear this with a white button-up or any button-up with sheer sleeves paired to a plaid pegged pants. The possibilities are endless with this top.
5. Transparent Panel Blouse
This is for those days when I feel lazy and I would want to put on something that would help me not look lazy at all. I really do love sheers (you can tell it by now since there's two sheer garments that made it in to this list), they're really sexy but not obscene. I have always loved the idea of showing something but not showing it too literally. With this top, I also love that it's paneled and only shows your shoulders, down to your arms. I also love collars, which is why I love this top because its collar just appeals to me, and also the cuffs.

You can find all these pieces at Zalora, if you haven't checked out their website, do it now by clicking here (or the links above).
