New Year. New Beginnings. New Possibilities
2014 was indeed a great year for this blog, not only because it was started last year but also of the partnerships and people I've met. Regardless, 2014 is just another phase we've all been through and now that another year has started I'm hoping of nothing but all things better for this blog. To grow and become a better version of last year. To prosper and reach new heights. To inspire people in one way or another.
School will be starting in a few days and I still haven't gotten over the Holiday Hangover. Still want more of it, but reality always kicks in and makes us realize that we still have some unfinished student duties. So I'm bracing myself for the comeback of my college life. Anyway, days are nearing and it's almost my birthday. I was actually thinking on doing a birthday post but I think I won't be able to do so since my birthday landed on a school day. I wanted to post on the exact day not on an another day though, maybe next time. Some things just don't go your way. Still excited though.

Wearing polka dots on the eve of the New Year or on the actual day has become a habit of mine. Most probably because of the superstition they always say that comes with the wearing of polka dots. Good luck or good fortune is upon those who wear the print on New Year's day. I'm always the start-the-year-good type and if it has to do with wearing polka dots, then expect me to be in it. As for the outfit itself, I decided to overlay a polka dotted top over a white button-up. I've always been skeptical with trying to layer this top, just for the reason of how it hugs my body. But now, I decided it's time to do it. What's most appealing about this combination, is mainly how dis-proportioned my upper body looks. You guys do know how I have a thing for dis-proportioned silhouettes. It has this 16th century man appeal. Fitted bodice and puffy sleeves. Decided to go for a neutral palette for the new year. More blacks and whites this year please. Anyway, I had a wonderful New Year myself, hope you guys had a great time welcoming the New Year too. Aiming for greater heights this year and let's keep making things happen.
