All white.
Officially getting in the holiday spirit with the outfits, yes it's late but better late than never. This was the outfit I had on our Christmas party, believe it or not this was rushed. Now, I can truly attest to "some things happen for a reason", as the most unfortunate thing happened on the night of our party with my favorite pegged pants' zipper broken I had to think of another outfit the quickest possible. Luckily for me, I have been thinking of cutting one of my white button-ups sleeves to make them short and thought it would be the perfect time to do so. With time crunch, I am still happy on how I looked that night of the party.
For the look, I just opted to go for Whites and Blacks. Ditched the layers and went for a little minimalism. This top was originally a long sleeved button-up, but I decided to chop off the sleeves for an outfit that night and also for layering purposes. I love that it looks modern but still has that vintage feel to it. The clean white outfit as a whole gives off that modern minimal approach, but the silhouette with pants being high-waisted and all the buttons being closed exudes a rather vintage vibe. A balance, I always try to go for, which I (not to self praise) somehow nailed with this look. The cuffs of the sleeves I decided to turn into "cuffs", thought I needed to accessorize because it looked plain, so I went and added the cuffs and it just made the whole outfit complete. I thank the spur of the moment for giving me this whole outfit because I almost became hopeless that night. Sometimes there are great things that happen when you panic. Just don't over panic that you lose focus.
