Stripes and monochrome.
Posting looks everyday seems pretty odd, but I am actually trying to post all the looks from this year so that there wouldn't be backlogs when I welcome 2015. Trying to start anew. Anyway, here is another washday look I put together and this one was inspired from one of my laid-back moments. And also, finally got what I wanted with my hair. Been really skeptical about the length, but now I finally went and did it. It's still The Bowl Headed only shorter.
For this look, I again ditched the layers and went for a little laid-back moment. Just wore the shirt as it is and wore this oversize trousers and folded the hem to make it look like a pair of culottes. Right now I have been into this silhouette lately, oversize button-up or tops and oversize pants. I love the fact that it doesn't hug my body and just creates a straight figure. It looks as if I just threw all pieces together and didn't care how I looked like. Love the thought of it. Also, I love how dressy it looks despite the fact that I went for a laid-back look, well it is laid-back, only that it looks dressy. Neutrals are indeed your saving grace, no matter how simple you dress when it's in neutral it will look good. Anyway, Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
