Hey June!
I can feel summer's curtains slowly closing and the duties of a senior student are now inevitable. Thankfully, I've had my last hurrah with summer. So all be worth it. I can't deny the pressure that entails to being a graduating student, there's all the projects for each majors and the thesis to top it all off to culminate the whole of my college years. I know, there's a lot and there's only a year. But all is well. Trust and believe, have faith with God and yourself.

That was quite an intro, a rather "depressing" intro to such a vibrant outfit. Anyway, I know and for the nth time, "Philippines is not a country for sweaters" but this old-granny sweater deserves it's rightful recognition. Another good thrift shop score. In a glance I would just pass by this sweater for its color. I'm not a fan of yellow, too bright. If not for the prints this would have stayed at the rack where I took it. I just feel like an old-granny myself in this, it has that vibe to me and I love playing the part. Clearly, I don't make bold color choices (anymore), the restrictions Black and White has brought into my sartorial taste. Knowing it's Yellow (and it's bright), I opted to wear everything else in White, just to give the entire spotlight to the sweater.
This is really out of the comfort zone I am usually shelled in. The whole "vintage vibe" is what really pushed me into doing this look, it feels like I haven't done such bright color in so many until now. Well it is refreshing, a break from all the usual. Furthermore, a decision has to be done, if I can't do a summer outfit post that actually looks like it's summer, might as well just pay homage to the season. This is the path I chose to do so, oh the irony. Paying a hot season an homage while being chunked up in a sweater. On my defense, all the photos look cozy though.
