 It's my blog's first year anniversary!

I am still flabbergasted of the fact that today is my first year anniversary. I could still remember like it was yesterday the day I was thinking of a blog name and came up with what I am bearing now. Days come by so fast indeed. I wanted to make this post symbolic in a way, so I thought, why not bring a dozen balloons to represent the twelve months that I've blogged so far. These balloons are a manifestation of how far I've come, not to sound all too sentimental and cheesy, but that's just how I see it. I would like to take this time to thank all the people, you guys, who graciously spares time in reading what I have to say in this blog. It has a been a year and I couldn't be more blessed on having readers like you. Thank you and to many more Bowl Headed years to come.

For the first year, I tried to make it out of the usual. Although an all-white outfit is never out of the usual for me, but minimal fashion is. I just wanted to try a different genre of fashion and silhouette this time. Not that I haven't tried minimalism before, but this one feels a lot more quintessential to the style. Back story is, I've had this fabric for a while now for a school plate, but was not able to put it to use, so I decided to go to my seamstress and have some clothes made. What I designed for the top is something really versatile, I wanted something multipurpose. It is a top, a dress, and a cover-up in one. Practical and in style. Officially obsessed with trousers, especially ones that are ill-fitting and cropped. Love it more especially that it's whats prevalent in this season's Menswear fashion. Those trousers are pure heaven. For this look, I wanted to achieve something that looks like an Arab men's thawb, only that it is shorter in length and has shorter sleeves. It is that I have seen some of them wear such clothing here in the Philippines and I just love the fact that it catches the eye and effortless in a way. As for the shoes, I wanted to contrast the whole outfit so I went with these pair of ankle boots. Honestly, this is not the type of shoes I would usually wear but the way it points in front is what I really love about this pair and it is also made of suede. Something new this time as I mostly have faux or real leathers. Anyway, the day is drawing to its close but my anniversary won't be, expect a video diary sometime this week which is in line with my blog's anniversary. Can't wait for you guys to see what I've put up.

Really appreciative of the fact that you are as passionate as I am with this blog and are both really patient in doing the shoots I want happen.
