Florals for days.
Wore this to a lunch date (which was an extremely late lunch by the way) with my cousin. Decided to tone down with the blacks this time. I wanted a Springy vibe because in my entire semester break I wasn't really able to have a day out except when necessary (school duties), so I went for something that looks light and just a little bit of that summer feeling. I just wanted to inject a little summer in this short vacation I had with this outfit. Furthermore, school is starting this Monday back to reality it is. But the good thing is, we're getting closer to the yuletide season, can't wait.
Decided to go for a usual color combo- Black and White. Gotta love contrasts. I opted for this faded floral printed pegged pants because: a.) I wanted that Springy vibe, as mentioned earlier and b.) I haven't been able to use these in such a long time. To also achieve a more toned down and laid back look I instantaneously went for a white button-up. White button-up just has this laid-back vibe when paired with casual pieces, truly is an essential to one's closet. The two does give off that dis-proportioned silhouette, which I really love (I look bigger in case you haven't noticed). If you're not into clothes that don't flatter your figure, then this one's not for you, but if you are, you have to try this. Pick a pants that doesn't fit well on your legs part and wear button-up as it is. The blacks were the finishing, I went for the Black socks and shoes combo to add more blacks to the look and finished the look with the floppy hat. Also, I will forever love this bag of my grandmother's, I got this from her closet and I just fell in love with it. Truly a vintage steal! I just love how dressy this outfit is for a day out, but still sits well with the casuals.
