Sacred Simplicity

Neutral and an earthly color this time.

So this post is one of those rarely "fresh from the oven" posts I do. I don't know, I just wanted to update my blog for some reason. Went out today for a school related meeting and at least my holiday had gone by productive. Anyway, I don't really shoot outfits in public places, I just don't have the courage yet. Obviously doing this was a little scary for me.

Today, I went for a casual look that might resemble a little to that of John Bender's outfit in The Breakfast Club. He wore this plaid shirt over a white long sleeved shirt and I really had just feels for it. Thinking of actually doing one that's somehow exact to his soon. My take was obviously in black and white but more blacks. Before today, I've been actually planning on wearing this ensemble without the black long sleeve, but after watching the movie I kind of somehow got the idea of doing one just like his. And I really love how it looks. I love the silhouette both the top creates, I just really have a thing for dis-proportioned silhouettes. As for the bag, this is actually my "everyday bag" now, not really a fan of the color but I love how big its storage is. Although brown is not my color, I always love looking at it with my black outfits, the contrast is just pleasing. It contrasts black in a way it makes me love the color. I'm just one lucky bird with this bag, thrifted this and I just can't stop using it to school and even to my day outs.
