Love looking like a tourist.
Hello October! New month, new possibilities.
This was honestly random and totally out of the usual style I do, but I actually happen to love it. I'll forever have a spot for Hawaiian prints in my heart. They just have that vintage appeal that I really love. Anyway, there's been times when I don't know where my style is going to, but I've always been the one that has been so specific with my personal style. If I'm a mix of vintage and grunge, then I'll commit to it, adding flair to touch it up with my own. But lately, I've been actually lost, dazed and confused? maybe, It's like I've lost track of what my style really is. Maybe I'll just do a little revamp, to actually embrace the growing and changing style I have, but still stick to vintage and grunge. Change can never hurt someone. Moreover, school's been really hectic this week because it was our pre-finals, had to delay this post a bit for school commitments, you know, student duties, had to study for exams.

With this outfit, I really wanted to play with the silhouette. Went with "bigger-looking" pieces to create a laid-back effect. I wanted to keep it simple by pairing this palazzo pants with a white shirt. Instead of tucking the shirt in, like how I would usually do it, I just let it hang loose, so to overwhelm my frame with loose pieces. I decided to use this Hawaiian shirt as a coverup, to add more to the laid-back effect I was somehow going for. The coverup also helped in overwhelming my frame with loose pieces. I wore black socks to add more edge to the look, and it did lift the look from the laid-back-tourist-look it was exuding. Indeed, it never hurts to try something out of your circle, it's fun, but I'd still like to stick to my style, with a little revision though. You might actually see more of this soon here in my blog.

If you could notice in my blog, there's actually a new addition, which I will be talking more about soon. But for now, let me just tell you about how excited I am with this partnership, something I really didn't see coming. But will forever be grateful.
