Whites and pastel.
Second part of my "Father's shirt" series. The moment I pulled out this shirt from my father's luggage (he left here), I knew I will be doing something with this. Love the pastel color it has and love the blue star printed mid-way across the shirt. It's just a balance of a feminine color in a masculine size. There's just so many things you can do with an over sized shirt. One of which, in my case, as an overlay!
Sometimes all it takes in fashion are a little creativity and your own flare to things. Who would've thought that something as unrecognized as a father's tee would turn an outfit to a whole new level? Furthermore, I simply went for whites because I thought that whites and pastels are a great combo, and indeed they are! Went for the lace pants to add texture to the entirety of the look. As for the shoes, I still wanted to get in touch with my dark palette so I opted for my favorite brown Sammyr sandals and black socks to contrast with the outfit. What I'm seriously in love with this look is the dainty appeal it has, but not to the point that it looks too girly for me. Anyway, this look though, is one that could've caused me trouble in school, but since I was very careful (especially with the guards) I was safe and was able to go home without sanctions.
