Leonardo DiCaprio should have won Best Actor.
I'm in no place to judge Matthew McConaughey for I haven't seen his movie Dallas Buyers Club, but Leonardo DiCaprio deserved it for such stellar performance on The Wolf of Wall Street. Anyway I'm not here to talk about The Oscars or how disappointed I am that Leo didn't win.
Here's another Duckie Dale inspired look, this was actually the first one (that I told you about). Ever since I've watched Pretty in Pink I've been all love for over sized blazers, I knew I had to have one the moment I saw it. Believe it or not I tried googling "how to dress like Duckie Dale?" in the hopes of finding references or other ways to look like Duckie. One was stated there that you will need a vintage blazer in order to convincingly channel the said character, they suggested that Thrift stores were the perfect places to find these pieces. Luckily when I went thrift shopping (at long last!) not so long ago, I found two perfect vintage blazers, one of which I'm wearing in this post and one I'm yet to style and show.

I love the fit of this blazer on me, well it's not the perfect "fit" but it's the fit that I'm looking for- oversize. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it here but I do love pieces that can be formal and can be worn casually as well, that's how I see this blazer. Moreover, decided to just go vintage and Duckie for this look that I wore on a washday.
