collared tops and printed tees.
I have been actually in the darker palette lately, which I'm kind of loving, but I'll try and put some colors in my outfits to come.
Another week has begun and it only means I get to share my last week's washday look. In my outfit I decided to tone it down a bit, with a tee with a fist pump spray painted in silver. What I most love about this shirt is its print, the metallic spray paint, and how galactic it looks.
Decided to wear this plaid printed trousers to even go to the preppy look I was trying to achieve. The blue color of the trousers just helped give this dark ensemble a color.
If you have been following this blog you know very well that I am up for looking preppy although not the one that looks all smart and decent. Just wanted to channel a little "smart-looking-person" vibe into my dark and vintage clothing. I always try to maintain the balance between vintage and prep with vintage pieces and collared tops. I love to level up the simplest of tees by overlaying it to a collared top which can pretty much help make the whole look. This vintage collared top has become a staple piece in my closet, it's my go to when I want to prep a look by layering.

Anyway I'm just all excited because we are making a cocktail dress in our Sewing and Pattern class and I just can't wait how my dress would turn out.
