New Year's Eve 2014

Hola! to my first post here (well not exactly!). After constant arguments with myself if I would change my platform for my blogging, I have finally decided to transfer here. Yay me!
As unbelievable as it sounds it already is 2014, what better way to welcome it than with polka dots. I don’t really know, but I’m not a firm believer of superstitious beliefs but a part of me believes that if you welcome a new year with polka dots it’ll bring you good luck or good fortune. As much as possible that’s what I try to do every single New Year, welcoming it with polka dots. This is actually a recycled look, I’ve worn this exact ensemble (except for the shoe part though) to one of my friend’s debut party. Since I wanted to overload myself with polka dots, I thought what better way to do it than wear the vintage matchy pieces from my Vintage Collection (or also known as hand-me-downs). I tucked in my top so it would so it give off the effect as if I’m wearing a playsuit. Added a belt to give a little accent and to give my shapeless body a little curve. As for the shoes, I went with my unintentionally mismatched creepers because creepers are always my go to shoes. I think not anymore, the reason that my creepers are mismatched is because each of these creepers pair broke and couldn’t be put to use anymore. Luckily for me the ones that broke were paired and it left me with mismatched creepers (yay still though!) Used white socks to match everything white in my look. I am just in love with the preppy vibe this look exudes. I also love the way the outfit borders between vintage and preppy.
